230 policemen deployed to crisis-prone areas in Nasarawa |NAN

The Nasarawa State Police Command yesterday said it has deployed 230 policemen to crises-prone areas of the state to restore peace. The state’s Police Commissioner, Mr. Abayomi Akeremale, who said this in an interview with newsmen in Lafia, added that the deployment would help government in its effort to restore peace in the affected areas. ``Due to the distance between the state capital and the affected areas, the command has deployed its men to Udeni, Magagi, Agbashi, Bassa and Rutu, among others,`` he said.  (NAN)
