According to an witness who pleaded anonymity, no casualty was recorded when the bomber threw what was suspected to be an Improvised Explosive Device, IED.
He added that after the blast, the brave residents chased after the terrorists who came in a tricycle, got them and set one of the men who threw the IED on fire before handling the other to security operatives.
The spokesman of the Joint Task Force in Kano, Capt. Ikedichi Iweha, confirmed the incident, saying “the area has been cordoned off by security men and that
more details will be given soon”.
